KIMP360 x Slack Integration: Create Tasks and Get Real-Time Project Updates in Slack

We’re excited to announce that KIMP360 now integrates directly with Slack, making it easier than ever to manage design requests, get instant updates, and create tasks without leaving your workspace.

This integration is designed to keep your workflow smooth and connected, so you and your team can focus on what matters most: creative collaboration and faster turnarounds.

Connect Your Slack Account to KIMP360:

Each user can authenticate their Slack account securely from their KIMP360 dashboard. Once connected, you’ll be able to receive notifications in your chosen Slack channel and create new KIMP360 tasks directly from Slack.

Here’s how to set it up:

1. Log in to your KIMP360 Dashboard.
   Go to the sidebar and click on My Account > Settings > Slack Integration.
   
2. Click “Add to Slack.”
   You’ll be redirected to Slack’s authorization page. Click the Add to Slack button again to continue.
   
3. Select your workspace and channel.
   Choose the Slack workspace where you’d like to install the KIMP360 app and the channel where you’d like to receive notifications.

Note: Each Slack workspace can only be linked to one KIMP360 board.
If a workspace is already attached to another board, you’ll see an error message when trying to connect.

Once connected successfully, your selected channel will start receiving Kimp360 notifications automatically, keeping your entire team updated in real-time.

Create Kimp360 Tasks Directly From Slack: 

You can now turn Slack messages into actionable tasks instantly using a simple slash command.

To create a task from Slack:

1. Go to the Slack channel where you’ve connected KIMP360.
2. Type the command:  /add-task
3. A task creation form will appear, fill it out with your request details and submit.

That’s it! The task will instantly appear in your KIMP360 Requests board, ready for your team to start working on it.

This helps you move ideas from conversation to creation, without switching tabs or breaking your workflow.

Manage Slack Notifications: 

Once your Slack account is connected, you’ll start receiving key KIMP360 notifications right in your chosen channel, such as:

• New card requests
• Status changes (In Progress, In Review, Completed, etc.)
• Comments and feedback updates
• Archiving or unarchiving activity

You can always manage these notifications from your KIMP360 dashboard:

• Go to My Account > Settings > Slack Integration
• Update your preferences or disconnect the integration anytime

This ensures you only get the updates that matter most to you and your team.
