What’s unlimited?

add remove

Kimp’s unlimited graphic design service includes unlimited requests and unlimited revisions. This means that you can make as many requests as you’d like, and we’ll work through them as quickly as possible. Once you submit your requests, your dedicated Project Manager will review them, to ensure we have all the details required. Then they’ll assign them to your design team.

By default, your requests will be completed in the order you submit them. But if you ever need to change the order, or prioritize a certain task, or tasks, you can do so by letting our Project Manager know.

We work on your requests on a first-come, first-served basis. They are entered into your design team’s queue in the order that they are received. Your team then works on delivering them.

On average you’ll receive designs or revisions in 24 hours with the Kimp Graphics subscription (this applies to designs like social media posts, web banners, and single-sided print designs). And on average you’ll receive 1 30-60 second video, every 2-4 business days, with the Kimp Video subscription. If you’ve got a more complex task, let us know and we’ll provide an estimate on how long it’ll take.

If you have the Kimp Graphics+Video subscription your turnarounds will be exactly the same. This means that graphics have their own specific turnaround times and videos have their own, so they don’t overlap (e.g. if you have fewer graphic design requests one week, your video requests would still be completed at the same rate as usual, as it’s still the same team completing them. Or vice versa.)

As we work together, and get to know your brand(s) and vision better, the review and revision process will get faster and faster. So you’ll be able to get an increasing number of design projects completed, and only ever pay our flat monthly fee.

Do you have different tiers of service?

add remove

At Kimp we aim to keep things simple. That's why we have one graphic design subscription - Kimp Graphics - and one video design subscription - Kimp Video. And one subscription which combines both - Kimp Graphics+Video.

Whichever subscription you choose, start with a free trial and invite as many team members as you'd like to help you make design requests. You won't pay any extra premiums for custom illustrations, landing pages, or GIFs with a Kimp Graphics subscription. And no extra fees for custom design and animation with a Kimp Video subscription.

You get it all with your flat monthly fee.

What's included with my monthly subscription fee?

add remove

With each Kimp subscription, you get features that will help you make and manage your design requests with ease.

Kimp Graphics is our power-packed graphic design subscription. Unlike other companies that provide multiple tiers of service and a very limited standard subscription, Kimp offers one graphic design subscription. And it includes ALL the designs you need, without having to pay extra premiums. From print and digital designs for your day to day marketing, to custom illustrations (including detailed brand mascots!), landing page designs AND GIFS for unique campaigns. We know that your design needs can evolve and vary and so we've created one subscription that's versatile enough to handle everything you need.

Kimp Video is our video design and motion graphics subscription. With Kimp Video you can get help enhancing your existing video footage or images, or we'll design and animate from scratch for you! We provide this range of design and animation services as part of Kimp Video because we know that your video content needs will be dynamic, depending on whether you're creating something for your website, an email campaign, social media, or something in between. And we're prepared to deliver a wide range of videos to help you with that.

Kimp Graphics+Video includes all the features of Kimp Graphics and all the features of Kimp Video, for a discounted flat monthly fee.

And, with every Kimp subscription, you can invite as many additional team members as you'd like to help you make and manage design requests at no extra cost!

Will there be any hidden fees?

add remove

There are no hidden fees at all. You will only pay the flat fee on a monthly basis. All taxes and other fees are included in the flat fee.

Which method of payment can I use?

add remove

We do not accept cash, cheques, money transfers, or Paypal as methods of payment. At the moment we only accept credit cards. Feel free to contact us on our live chat at www.kimp.io if you have any questions about payments.

Am I in a long-term contract with you?

add remove

No. We offer a monthly subscription so that at any time you wish to cancel, you can do so hassle-free.

What does my billing cycle look like and when will I be billed?

add remove

We maintain a 30-day cycle for billing. As long as you maintain an active subscription, you will be billed on a recurring basis, on the same day that your full subscription began. If you want more information on this, or if you wish to clarify any details, please reach out via our live chat at www.kimp.io.

Why is my billing on a monthly basis?

add remove

Kimp has a subscription model, which includes month-to-month billing. So when you have an active subscription, you'll receive a monthly bill. In order for you to make and manage your design requests on an ongoing basis, we require you to have an active subscription. If you have any concerns about your billing, please contact us on our live chat at www.kimp.io.

How hard is it to cancel the subscription?

add remove

Not hard at all. We keep things simple at Kimp. No documentation or extensive process. You can cancel at any point in time. Just log in to your Kimp account, and you can cancel with just a few clicks. Need a hand with this? No worries. You can request assistance via the live chat at www.kimp.io. You can also request assistance from your dedicated Project Manager. There is only one thing that we will ask: “What could we have done better?” We ask, because we value your feedback.

Just need a temporary break? But still want access to your KIMP360 board, to remain assigned to the same dedicated design team, and to lock in the existing subscription price regardless of service updates? Consider pausing your subscription.

Can I pause my account if I don't have a lot of requests to make?

add remove

Yes, you can! We get it. Workflows change and you don't always need to have an active subscription. But at the same time, you might still need access to your KIMP360 board.

And if you've gotten into a really good groove with your design team, you may want to make sure that they're still going to be matched with them when you resume your subscription.

To address all of this we've introduced the "Pause Your Subscription" feature for a flat monthly fee of $18.99. This allows you to pause your account as of the end of the current subscription period so that there is no auto-renewal.

And it allows you to enjoy these benefits:

  • Securing your current subscription fee, regardless of any changes to Kimp pricing.
  • Having ongoing access to your KIMP360 board, and all of your design files.
  • Working with the same Dedicated Design Team when you resume.
  • Making the most of your subscription by resuming when you have more design requests.

To submit a request to pause your subscription, simply log into your account and submit a request. To request to resume your subscription, log into your account and submit a request.

How can I cancel my subscription?

add remove

You can simply log in to your Kimp account at www.kimp.io and cancel at any point in time with just a few clicks. You can also request assistance from your dedicated Project Manager, or via our live chat at www.kimp.io. There is only one thing that we will ask: “What could we have done better?” We ask, because we value your feedback.

Can I get a refund if I haven't used my account recently?

add remove

We do understand that your workflow will change from time to time, and this is why we make it possible for you to cancel at any time. As Kimp is a monthly subscription service, and we provide the opportunity to cancel your subscription at any point, we do not offer refunds due to inactivity.

How do I create a design request in KIMP360?

add remove

To create a card select “Add Card” in the “Drafts” or “Requests” lists.

Once you do this you’ll see the “Guided Request Form”. The AI-powered guided request form will take you through a series of fields and prompts to help you set up your design request with all the necessary details.

How can I upgrade to a full subscription?

add remove

If you’ve seen all you need to about how Kimp works, you don’t need to wait the full 7 days of the free trial to upgrade. Just contact us via our live chat at www.kimp.io or by hitting the "support" button in KIMP360 to have your full subscription launched.

If during the trial you realize that Kimp isn't the right fit for you, you may cancel at any time and you will not be charged anything. Where Does KIMP Get Stock Photos, Videos, Animations, Fonts, Icons and Elements From?

add remove

We scour the internet for the best options for fonts, photos, icons, videos, animations, and elements. We use a lot of reputable free resources.

And every Kimp Graphics and Kimp Video Subscription ALSO includes 50 stock photos used in your designs from a combination of premium stock photo sites (including 20 from a combination of Adobe Stock and Shutterstock) - that's an $80 value, every month of your subscription!

This means if you get a Kimp Graphics + Video subscription, your designs will include up to 100 premium stock images (including 40 from a combination of Adobe Stock and Shutterstock)  - a $160 value, every month of your subscription.

Whatever the source, we ensure that each element grants the appropriate license for you to use it, as part of your design, as the end-user. If, however, you plan to use your design for resale, please do let us know and we can make sure your design only includes elements that are appropriate for that.

What design file formats does KIMP provide?

add remove

During your trial, you will receive designs with a watermark on it and you will not receive source files and/or print-ready files. After you start a full subscription, you will receive source files and/or print-ready files for all trial work and projects going forward.

For video requests please provide any video files you require edited or enhanced  in MOV or MP4 format. The combined total of your video files' sizes must not be more than 5GB.

Beyond the trial, if your graphic design requests are completed in Photoshop then by default we will provide you with PSD and JPG files. If they're completed in Illustrator we will provide you with AI and JPG files. If they're completed in Figma we will provide you with Figma Files. If they're completed in Adobe XD we will provide you with Adobe XD files. And if they're completed in InDesign, we'll provide you with INDD and PDF files.

Beyond the trial by default, your video requests will be delivered to you in MP4 or JPEG (for thumbnails) format, depending on the type of request that you make.

If you need your design files in any particular formats (including MOV or GIF), just let your Project Manager know when you make a request and they'll provide them in those formats.

How can I reduce revisions and provide feedback clearly for my team?

add remove

1) Be sure to carefully review each and every output you receive from your Kimp Team to make sure that all the Is are dotted and the Ts are crossed, just as you need them, before you go live with a campaign.

This is especially important for print projects. The last thing you want is to send over a design for printing without reviewing it, when you could've just gotten all of the revisions and updates you needed from your Kimp Team. That's why we highly recommend doing a test print to ensure that all the elements of your design, including components like QR codes, are displayed with the clarity you require for their intended use. If you find that anything could be improved, just let your team know and we will get those edits sorted for you ASAP!

2)We recommend adding a brand for every brand, campaign, or platform that you create designs for. This way you can provide your Kimp Team with an overview of everything we need to know to deliver designs that are consistent with the designs you’re looking for (logos, fonts, colour palettes, examples of past designs, references for styles you like, stock images you like, etc.) You can include these details via text and as attachments or links.

3) As much as possible, use Loom when submitting a design request. And use KIMP360’s custom feedback tool when requesting revisions. To access loom head to: https://useloom.com Within minutes you'll be able to generate a video with a shareable link that you can post instead of having to write lengthy notes to describe what you could show us in seconds.

What types of video files can I have edited?

add remove

Please provide any video files you require edited or enhanced  in MOV or MP4 format. The combined total of your video files' sizes must not be more than 5GB.

Which videos can I request during a trial? And which ones can’t I request?

add remove

During your trial, you can make 1 request.

1 request = 1 video
(i.e. 1 video, up to 15 seconds in length + unlimited revisions within the 7 day trial period).

During your trial, you will only receive designs with a watermark on them.

If you decide to subscribe to the service you will receive your trial designs without a watermark.

After you subscribe, you’ll receive source files and/or print-ready files for all your requests!

We invite you to make your trial request from any one of our other Video Design categories:

  • Animated Typography
  • Animated Video Ads
  • Audiograms
  • Cinemagraphs
  • Demo Videos
  • Digital Display Loops
  • FAQ Videos
  • GIFs
  • Logo Animations
  • Motion Posters
  • Social Media Videos
  • Template Customization
  • Testimonial Videos
  • Text Overlays
  • UI/UX Animations
  • Video Editing

Be sure to make your trial request as soon as possible so that we can ask for clarification and then work on it, and any revisions you’ll require, as quickly as possible. This way you'll get a good sense of what working with your Kimp Team is like. And you'll be able to make a confident decision within your 7 day trial about whether you'd like a full subscription.

Which graphics can I request during a trial? And which ones can’t I request?

add remove

During your trial you can make 3 requests.

1 request = 1 design
(i.e. a single print or digital creative, or up to 2-3 pages of a multi-page design, depending on the amount of content).

The following requests are not fulfilled during trials:

- Resizing of trial designs
- Logo designs
- Brand Mascot or Brand Character designs

During your trial, you will only receive designs with a watermark on them.

If you decide to subscribe to the service you will receive your trial designs without a watermark, as well as the source files and/or print-ready files.

After you subscribe, you’ll receive source files and/or print-ready files for all your requests!

Make your 3 requests all at once so that we can ask for clarification and then work through them, and any revisions you’ll require, as quickly as possible. This way you'll get a good sense of what working with your Kimp Team is like. And you'll be able to make a confident decision within your 7 day trial about whether you'd like a full subscription.

The following requests are limited during trials:

Illustration requests are limited during trials:
During your trial, you may request one simple illustration. Complex illustrations are not included during the trial.

UI design requests are limited during trials:
During your trial, you may request one landing page OR home page design request AND one app design request (please see below for more details on app requests during trials).

Multi-Page/Screen design requests are limited during trials:
During your trial, if you wish to request a multi-page design such as an ebook or a multi-screen design such as an app, we will complete 2-3 pages/screens, depending on the amount of content, as one design request.

__________________________________

Why we don’t fulfill certain design requests during trials:

We do not fulfill logo, brand mascot, or brand character requests during trials for the following reasons:
- They often include vague creative briefs as brand guidelines are not available. This in turn doesn’t provide enough direction to complete designs and/or revisions with
- They often require input and feedback from several team members or other stakeholders, which delays the design process and prevents us from being able to provide completed outputs to assess Kimp with.
- We’ve also found that many clients who request landing pages, logos, mascots and characters during the trial are simply seeking branding work on a complimentary basis, and don’t have recurring design needs.

__________________________________

Why we limit certain design requests during trials:

We limit illustration, UI design requests and multi-page/screen requests during trials for the following reasons:
- Our goal with the trial is to give clients the opportunity to test out our services as thoroughly as possible. And we believe that requesting a few different design types allows for this most effectively.
- As illustrations and UI design requests can be complex and difficult to finalize within the trial period, we limit clients to requesting 1 simple illustration, 1 landing or home page and 1 app design per KIMP Graphics or KIMP Graphics + Video trial. This way you can receive at least a work in progress for these types of designs, along with other completed designs during the trial.

How can I make the most of my trial?

add remove

Step 1: Set up your brand(s) in the left hand menu so that your team is aware of your brand guidelines and preferences and can design accordingly. If you are currently using a particular commercial font or fonts for your branding and prefer that we use the same, please upload the font file(s) as well.

Step 2: Make all of your trial requests ASAP! For a Kimp Graphics trial that means 3 Graphics requests, for a Kimp Video trial that means 1 Video request, and for a Kimp Graphics + Video trial that means 3 graphics + 1 video request. This way we can review them and get back to you if we need clarification. Otherwise we can get to designing for you! If you're uploading a video file as part of your request, please make sure it's in MP4 format, in the highest resolution you have available.

Step 3: If any of your requests are for designs that you are planning to sell (e.g. a template), let us know when making your request so that we can ensure all assets included are appropriate for that use case.

Step 4: Need print designs? We've got you covered. Just let us know if you or your printer have any preferred dimensions for the crop marks or bleed. Otherwise we will apply standard dimensions.

If you need faster outputs you can add on subscriptions as you need them, and cancel them as you don’t. To learn more about adding additional subscriptions, reach out to us on the live chat at www.kimp.io, 7 days a week! Or to add an additional subscription, log in to your account at www.kimp.io.

How many tasks will my team work on each day?

add remove

As part of the Kimp Graphics subscription or the Kimp Video subscription, your Dedicated Design Team will have 2 tasks in progress for you at any given time, and they will allocate 2-2.5 hours each business day to completing your requests.

With the Graphics + Video subscription, your Dedicated Design Team will have 2 graphic design requests and 2 video requests in progress at any given time. This means that they will allocate 2-2.5 hours each business day to your graphic design requests and 2-2.5 hours each business day to your video design requests.

Now if you need a higher volume of outputs, and faster turnarounds, you can add on additional subscriptions. And this will mean that with each additional Kimp Graphics or Kimp Video subscription, you'll get an additional 2-2.5 hours allocated to completing your requests (e.g. with 2 subscriptions you'll get 4-5 hours allocated to your requests, and so forth).

In the case of Kimp Graphics+Video subscriptions, with each additional subscription, you'll get an additional 2-2.5 hours allocated to your graphic design requests AND an additional 2-2.5 hours allocated to your video design requests.

As your team completes tasks you'll see them shift from being "In Progress" to "In Review" and you'll see new requests getting started.

If I have more than one subscription will I get faster turnarounds?

add remove

If you have more than one graphic design subscription or more than one video design subscription, then yes you will! For example, if you have 2 Kimp Classic subscriptions you'll receive two times the outputs as you would with a single Kimp Classic subscription.

If you have both a graphic design subscription and a video design subscription, keep in mind that the workflows and turnaround times are mutually exclusive. This means that each subscription includes its own specific turnaround times, design teams, and number of outputs, so they don’t overlap (e.g. if you have fewer graphic design requests one week, your video requests would still be completed at the same rate as usual, as it’s still the same team completing them. Or vice versa.)

How does the trial work?

add remove

You sign up, you try us out for 7 days, and you cancel if you decide it’s not the right fit. You are not billed during the trial period. You get billed only after day 7 and you don’t have to sign any contracts to continue with Kimp. Our service is delivered month-to-month for a flat monthly rate.

So why do we collect payment details when you sign up? To ensure we are only onboarding clients who are seriously considering our service.

Below are guidelines for the Kimp Video and Kimp Graphics Trials, as well as some tips to help you determine if Kimp is right for you.

If you sign up for the Graphics+Video subscription, you will be able to make 1 video request and 3 design requests as per the guidelines below:

Kimp Video Trial Overview:

During your trial you can make 1 request.

  • 1 request = 1 video, up to 15 seconds in length + unlimited revisions within the 7 day trial period.
  • During your trial, you will only receive concepts with a watermark on them.

Kimp Graphics Trial Overview

During your trial you can make 3 requests.

  • 1 request = 1 design (i.e. a single print or digital creative, or up to 2-3 pages of a multi-page/screen design, depending on the amount of content).
  • During your trial, you will only receive designs with a watermark on them.

The following requests are not fulfilled during Kimp Graphics, Kimp Video or Kimp Graphics + Video trials:

  • Resizing of trial designs
  • Logo designs
  • Brand Mascot or Brand Character designs
  • Need some ideas for your trial design requests? Check out our FAQs!

The following requests are limited during Kimp Graphics or Kimp Graphics + Video trials:

Illustration requests are limited during trials: During your trial, you may request one simple illustration. Complex illustrations are not included during the trial.

UI design requests are limited during trials: During your trial, you may request one landing page OR home page design request AND one app design request (please see below for more details on app requests during trials).

Multi-page/screen design requests are limited during trials: During your trial, if you wish to request a multi-page design such as an ebook or a multi-screen request like an app, we will complete 2-3 pages/screens, depending on the amount of content, as one design request.

Why we don’t fulfill certain design requests during trials:
We do not fulfill presentation, logo, brand mascot, or brand character requests during trials for the following reasons:

  • They often include vague creative briefs as brand guidelines are not available. This in turn doesn’t provide enough direction to complete designs and/or revisions with.
  • They often require input and feedback from several team members or other stakeholders, which delays the design process and prevents us from being able to provide completed outputs to assess Kimp with.
  • We’ve also found that many clients who request logos, mascots, and characters during the trial are simply seeking branding work on a complimentary basis, and don’t have recurring design needs.

Be sure to make your trial request(s) as soon as possible so that we can ask for clarification and then work on it, and any revisions you’ll require, as quickly as possible. This way you'll get a good sense of what working with your Kimp Team is like. And you'll be able to make a confident decision within your 7 day trial about whether you'd like a full subscription.

If you’d like to skip the trial and move forward with a full subscription in order to request as many designs as you’d like, including designs not included in the trial, please let us on the live chat at www.kimp.io!

Have any questions about the trial terms? Reach out to us on the live chat at www.kimp.io!

What does “unlimited graphic design” and "unlimited video design" mean?

add remove

Kimp’s unlimited graphic design and unlimited video design service includes unlimited requests and unlimited revisions.

Tell me more about your team. Where are they located?

add remove

Kimp’s HQ is in Markham, Ontario, Canada and operates in EST. Our design team members, meanwhile, are full-time Kimp employees, who work from our offices in different time zones. Together we ensure that our clients get timely responses to their inquiries, and have their design requests fulfilled as quickly as they need them to be.

Kimp does not outsource work, or work with freelancers, as an important part of our service is being able to provide consistently high-quality designs to our clients. We also believe in the importance of building strong teams and creating environments that they can thrive in. Because we love giving our team members the opportunity to go bananas with graphic design too :)

My business is rapidly expanding. Can you keep up?

add remove

Absolutely. If you require more than one subscription to keep up with all your design needs, you can add additional subscriptions at any time. And you can also cancel them at any time, which means you can scale up, or down quickly.

With each additional subscription that you add, you'll increase the number of outputs you receive, and the speed at which you receive them.

For example, one additional subscription will double the designs you get completed each business day.

How much is the service?

add remove

I have a really time-sensitive request. What do I do?

add remove

If a request is especially time-sensitive, you can indicate this when submitting your request details. We’ll do our best to bump it up in the queue and advise you of the delivery time.

How many requests can I submit at a time?

add remove

You can submit an unlimited number of requests. Your dedicated Project Manager will review them, to ensure we have all the details required, and then assign them to your design team. By default, your requests will be completed in the order you submit them. But if you ever need to change the order, or prioritize a certain task, or tasks, you can do so by letting our Project Manager know.

We get it. Sometimes priorities shift and deadlines change. So we're happy to be as flexible as possible to help you meet yours.

Who works on my requests?

add remove

Your dedicated design team does! Your team is made up of 1 Project Manager and 3 designers who specialize in different types of design.

Based on what you need, your Project Manager will assign your request to the designer best suited to complete it. Once that request is completed, we then move on to your next request.

We fulfill your requests two at a time, on a first-requested, first-fulfilled basis. This way you get what you need first, the fastest. If the priority of your requests ever shifts, after you've made a request, you can just let your project manager know. They will hit pause on your active requests if possible, and fulfill the task(s) that have become more time-sensitive.

What details should my design request include?

add remove

Include these details every time for the best results: size, orientation, format (print, digital or video), preferred colours, inspiration designs, and text copy. If it's a video request include your preferred style of background music as well!

The more descriptive you can be, the fewer revisions will be required.

How do I submit and manage my requests?

add remove

You can submit your requests through our task management software, KIMP360. Check out our handy guide on how KIMP users can use their KIMP360 board below:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PmpG5qzka80

How many brands can I submit requests for?

add remove

An unlimited number. We’re happy to help you with as many designs as you need.

How do I get revisions done?

add remove

Your dedicated design team will take care of your design, from first-draft to final product. And all the revisions you need. Just let them know the details of the revisions required by adding a comment to your KIMP360 board.

Is there a contract I have to sign?

add remove

No, we don’t have any contracts. Our service is delivered month-to-month for a flat monthly rate.

Do you use design templates?

add remove

At Kimp, we deliver custom designs, created from scratch, or designs that are a combination of custom design and customized stock elements. The particular format just depends on what will provide the best output for the client's brief.

When using any stock elements, we ensure that they are licensed appropriately so that you may use them as the end-user (i.e. not for resale).

In cases where clients require designs for resale, we deliver completely custom designs. So be sure to let your Project Manager know how your designs will be used when making your requests!

Can I resell any of the designs Kimp creates for me?

add remove

If you would like to resell any of the designs that your Kimp Team creates for you, please be sure to let your Project Manager know when making your design request. Your team will then create your design from scratch, so that you have full rights to sell your design.

For all of your other design requests, where you'll be the end-user, and you will not be reselling your design, your team will either create the design from scratch and/or use stock elements or photos, as needed to meet the requirements of your brief.

Just remember, we double-check every element and stock photo we use, to make sure you’re granted the licenses for them. And we are assuming materials you provide to us are licensed and owned by you. If you do happen to send Kimp unlicensed materials to use, remember we are not held liable for the rights of the final design.

Where Does Kimp Get Stock Photos, Videos, Animations, Fonts, Icons and Elements From?

add remove

We scour the internet for the best options for fonts, photos, icons, videos, animations, and elements. We use a lot of reputable free resources. And every Kimp Graphics and Kimp Video Subscription ALSO includes 50 stock photos used in your designs from a combination of premium stock photo sites - that's an $80 value, every month of your subscription!

This means if you get a Kimp Graphics + Video subscription, your designs will include up 100 premium stock images - a $160 value, every month of your subscription.

Whatever the source, we ensure that each element grants the appropriate license for you to use it, as part of your design, as the end-user. If, however, you plan to use your design for resale, please do let us know and we can make sure your design only includes elements that are appropriate for that.

Keeping Things Confidential

add remove

We never disclose details about our clients. We do however share some of the designs we create for you in our portfolio. If you'd prefer not to have your designs included in our samples, please do let us know via our live chat at www.kimp.io or via email at [email protected].

Who owns the rights to the designs created by Kimp?

add remove

It would be you. You retain the rights to all the designs created by Kimp for you during your paid subscription.

How does the Graphics + Video Subscription work?

add remove

We work on your requests on a first-come, first-served basis. They are entered into your design team’s queue in the order that they are received. Your team then works on delivering them.

On average you’ll receive graphic designs or revisions in 24 hours (this applies to designs like social media posts, web banners, and single-sided print designs). And on average you’ll receive one 30-60 seconds video, every 2-4 business days. If you’ve got a more complex task, let us know and we’ll provide an estimate on how long it’ll take.

As there is a unique workflow for graphic designs, and specific turnaround times, and a unique workflow, and specific turnarounds for videos, they will not delay or impact one another.

Which Kimp Subscription is right for my business?

add remove
Kimp offers 1 graphic design subscriptions, 1 video design subscription, and 1 subscription that combines both! Here's how they differ:

Kimp Graphics is our most popular subscription, and for good reason! It gives you a wide range of print and digital designs - essentially everything that you'll need for your day-to-day marketing needs, for our lowest flat monthly fee. It ALSO includes Custom Illustrations, Landing Pages, and Animated GIFS for the bigger campaigns, or unique projects that you need to tackle.

Kimp Video, meanwhile, is our video design subscription. You can choose to sign up for Kimp Video on its own if you just need marketing videos. Or you can sign up for our Graphics+Video subscription to get the best of both worlds and a wider range of designs to work with. Just choose the subscription(s) you’d like during the checkout process.

Kimp Graphics+Video includes all the features of Kimp Graphics and all the features of Kimp Video, for a discounted flat monthly fee.

And, with every Kimp subscription, you can invite as many additional team members as you'd like to help you make and manage design requests at no extra cost! Just choose the subscription(s) you’d like during the checkout process.

If you need some more help deciding between these options, or you'd like help adding an additional graphic design or video subscription, let us know how we can help on the live chat!

Can you create print-ready designs?

add remove

We absolutely can!

Just be sure to provide these details when making your print requests:

  1. Specify whether you need crop/trim marks added.
  2. And specify the bleed size if you or your printer has a preference. Or, if they don't, ask the Kimp team to recommend and apply a bleed based on the dimensions of the design.

Once you receive your files please double check that all of the requirements, as per your brief and your printer's specifications, have been met, before you proceed with printing.

We would also highly recommend getting a test print done to make sure that all the elements of your design, including components like QR codes, are displayed with the clarity you need for their intended use.

If you, or your printer, require any changes to ensure optimal print output please let us know and we’ll get those edits done as soon as possible.

How long do requests take to complete?

add remove

We work on your requests on a first-come, first-served basis. They are entered into your design team’s queue in the order that they are received. Your team then works on delivering them.

On average you’ll receive designs or revisions in 24 hours with the Kimp Graphics subscription (this applies to designs like social media posts, web banners, and single-sided print designs). And on average you’ll receive 1 30-60 second video, every 2-4 business days, with the Kimp Video subscription. If you’ve got a more complex task, let us know and we’ll provide an estimate on how long it’ll take.

If you have the Kimp Graphics + Video subscription your turnarounds will be exactly the same. This means that graphics have their own specific turnaround times and videos have their own, so they don’t overlap (e.g. if you have fewer graphic design requests one week, your video requests would still be completed at the same rate as usual, as it’s still the same team completing them. Or vice versa.)

If you need faster outputs you can add on subscriptions as you need them, and cancel them as you don’t. To learn more about adding additional subscriptions, reach out to us on the live chat at www.kimp.io, 7 days a week! Or to add an additional subscription, log in to your account at www.kimp.io.

To learn more about adding additional subscriptions, reach out to us on the live chat at www.kimp.io, 7 days a week! Or to add an additional subscription, log in to your account at www.kimp.io.

How much is the service?

add remove

$599 USD per month, for Kimp Graphics; $699 USD per month for Kimp Video; $995 USD per month for Kimp Graphics+Video. No set-up fee, no minimum terms, no cancellation penalties. Absolutely no contracts.

If you need your design files in any particular formats (including MOV or GIF), just let your Project Manager know when you make a request and they'll provide them in those formats.

add remove

To learn more about adding additional subscriptions, reach out to us on the live chat at www.kimp.io, 7 days a week! Or to add an additional subscription, log in to your account at www.kimp.io.

Can I duplicate similar design requests to save time?

add remove

Absolutely! Once a card has been published to the “Requests” list, you can duplicate it or save it as a template by hitting the vertical ellipsis on the card to display those options. The duplicate function is handy if you’re looking to create a similar task right away, as clicking on it will open the guided request form with the fields pre-filled.

But if you’re just looking to save a template for an upcoming design request select “save as template". And going forward, you’ll be able to choose from your templates at the top of the guided request form.

What should I include in my design request description?

add remove

The more detailed your design request description is, the better! This will help us with getting as close as possible to the exact design you're looking for.

Here are a few pointers on what to include:

1) What type of design are you looking for?

2) Is there a specific style or look and feel you want?

3) Let us know what your goal is with your design.

4) Is there anything in particular that we should emphasize?

For example:

I need a landing page designed that has a very energetic and vibrant look and feel. My health and fitness brand is all about encouraging people to eat healthier with fun, friendly messaging and we want that to come across in the imagery, font and colors used.  My target audience is 20-30 something year-old young professionals. And I want to use this landing page to help create brand awareness and collect leads. So please make sure that the logo, brand name, slogan and CTA are very prominent on the landing page.

add remove

You can create a brand, and save its guidelines, in KIMP360 in two ways:

1) Navigate to "My Brands" in the left hand menu and then select "New Brand. Enter the name of the brand you'd like to create and then save all of the guidelines related to it, by typing them into the given fields or uploading the relevant assets.

2) Create a brand while submitting a design request, within the guided request form. You can do this by hitting the "Add New Brand" button in the form, and entering the name of the brand you'd like to create. You can then save all of the guidelines related to it, by typing them into the given fields or uploading the relevant assets.

Once you've added a brand, either directly to the "My Brands" section or via the request form, you'll be able to update it at any time in the "My Brands" section in the left hand menu. And you'll be able to add it to all future design requests.

A quick tip here - you can add brands to share guidelines for different marketing campaigns, social media platforms, or even just to capture preferences for print or digital designs.

  1. Review your requests: Sometimes a request is missing details or not as clear as it could be. Try providing additional references and details in your revision requests.
  2. Give your designer detailed feedback: Let your designer clearly know what they’ve missed. They’ll work as quickly as possible to have your design revised.

Kimp Tip: After attempting steps 1 and 2, if you find that your design is still falling short, shoot us an email at [email protected]. We’ll review the issue and work to find you a resolution as quickly as possible.

  1. Triple check the spelling of your text copy.

Prioritizing Requests

add remove

Requests are fulfilled on a first-come, first-served basis, from the top down on your KIMP360 board. So, if you’re posting multiple requests at the same time, make sure the order of your cards reflects which tasks should be completed first.

To change the order your cards are displayed in, just click on them, and drag and drop them as needed.
