Reportedly, viewership trends show people using CTV for everything from live sports and video podcasts to bite-sized content, and Google’s new features aim to meet them wherever they watch their favorite content.

Google has also introduced a commerce and retail media solution to turn viewers into buyers. Accordingly, Google is collaborating with partners like Costco and YouTube for better audience targeting and sales tracking.

Google is enhancing Search campaigns with AI Max

Google is introducing AI Max for Search campaigns, a powerful new suite of AI-driven tools designed to expand ad reach, improve targeting, and dynamically generate creative assets.

Google Search has been evolving, becoming more exploratory and supporting multimodal experiences. And there are new features like AI overviews, AI Mode, and more enhanced tools like Google Lens. Amidst all this, AI Max helps advertisers stay ahead by tapping into emerging moments of intent.

In short, advertisers can make the most of these updates to optimize their ads to align better with customer intent so as to ensure that their content reaches the right people at the right time.

The power of local brand partnerships

Search Engine Journal recently shared a post highlighting useful strategies for local brands to build their SEO authority and strengthen their community presence.

For small businesses, building authority is key to standing out in local search results, and partnerships with other local organizations can make a big difference. Google’s E-E-A-T guidelines emphasize authoritativeness, which businesses can enhance through strategies like high-quality content, industry backlinks, and community engagement.

Collaborating with reputable local businesses or groups creates a co-branding effect, boosting credibility when trusted brands validate each other. These partnerships can lead to shared content, such as guest blogs or social media posts, exposing brands to wider audiences and generating valuable local backlinks.

The post also recommends steps like engaging in local events or supporting community organizations, and how these can help build trust and earn citations. The idea is to reinforce the brand’s local presence.

In the Content Marketing Realm

YouTube trends to know now

Here, YouTube shares some of the recent trends to inspire creators and brands to find the right type of content that resonates with their audience.

The post talks about the growing popularity of Doechii’s 2019 track “Anxiety” after fan-driven buzz sparked the “Anxiety Challenge”. Secondly, “Homebody” vlogs are gaining traction, with creators sharing cozy, introvert-friendly routines like cooking and nesting, offering a more authentic take on lifestyle content.

Delve into more such trends through the post shared by YouTube. These trends show how creators are blending nostalgia, authenticity, and innovative storytelling to connect with diverse audiences.

Creating content in the age of AI Overviews

The post presents useful information highlighting shifts in Google Search and what this means for content marketing.

About 88.1% of all search queries that trigger AI Overviews are informational. Given that AI Overviews appear above organic search results, brands and marketers need to take them seriously.

The post delves into details like Zero-Click Behavior and types and percentage of keywords that trigger AI Overviews, and how these signals can be used to refine content strategies.
