AI is reshaping how marketing teams operate
A recent post shared by MarTech discusses how marketing teams are moving beyond traditional campaign workflows and building AI-ready operating systems that connect data, content, automation, and decision-making. Notably, this shift is not about replacing campaigns but creating systems that help campaigns improve continuously.
An AI-ready marketing operating system focuses on seven connected areas – workflow management, data, content and assets, governance, AI agents, activation, and measurement. Together, these layers help teams organize work, use better insights, maintain brand standards, automate repetitive tasks, and learn from every campaign.
The article highlights that AI success depends less on individual tools and more on how well marketing systems work together. Companies that redesign workflows around AI are seeing stronger results, while disconnected processes, poor data, and unclear approvals can limit AI adoption.
Google Search Console expands access to social and video content highlights globally
Google has made its Search Console Platform Properties feature available worldwide. So, creators and brands will be able to track how their content performs across third-party platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, X, and YouTube directly within Google Search Console.
The feature lets users connect their social and video accounts to understand how Google Search drives visibility and traffic to their content. Marketers can analyze which search queries bring users to their posts, identify content gaining traction, and compare performance across different platforms.
Brands can use Google Search data to refine social strategies, improve content decisions, and better understand what audiences are searching for across platforms.
Google expands AI resources for nonprofits
Google is adding new AI-focused tools and resources to its Google for Nonprofits program, helping organizations use artificial intelligence across fundraising, marketing, and daily operations.
Notably, nonprofit participants are already using AI to reduce manual work. Some organizations have cut tasks that previously took days down to minutes, while participants report saving about one full workday per person each week on administrative activities.
Accordingly, the new resources that Google has introduced include free online training courses designed specifically for nonprofits, covering practical AI use cases in fundraising, marketing, and operations. Google is also offering one-on-one productivity coaching, giving organizations access to Product Specialists for guidance on adopting AI tools, migrating systems, and training teams.

How brands can spot rising trends before they become mainstream
Identifying trends early can give brands a major advantage in SEO, AI search visibility, and content strategy. But the key is finding topics during the “exploding” phase, when interest is growing quickly but competition is still relatively low.
Trending topics usually move through three stages – regular growth, rapid acceleration, and peak popularity. Brands that act during the growth or early explosion stage have a better chance of shaping conversations, creating relevant content, and capturing search demand before markets become crowded.
The article highlights several ways marketers can discover emerging trends, including monitoring TikTok Creative Center, Google Search Console, Reddit discussions, competitor activity, niche industries, and AI search platforms. Tools like Exploding Topics can also help identify rising topics before they gain widespread attention.
The goal is not just finding viral moments but understanding audience interests early and building useful content around them. Brands can use trend data to create content, optimize existing pages, and prepare for future demand.

How bold typography transforms product packaging
Typography is becoming the biggest driver of attention on crowded retail shelves. So bold typefaces are increasingly replacing logos and illustrations as the main visual signal for products.
The post here from The Brand Identity explores the power of packaging typography and reiterates that it must do more than look appealing. It needs to remain readable from a distance, work on curved surfaces like cans and bottles, handle small print sizes, and balance essential details such as ingredients and legal information without losing personality.
Studio Chapeaux’s new typeface, SC Ostrea, which was created specifically for product packaging and inspired by the European flat oyster. The design was developed for Broken Oyster Club, a premium canned beer brand that pairs oysters with a more playful and modern visual identity instead of traditional luxury food design styles.
Studio Chapeaux sees SC Ostrea as the beginning of a larger type foundry focused on packaging needs. The studio argues that many existing typefaces are designed for general use across digital and print platforms but often lack the character and impact needed for products competing in physical retail spaces.
The discussion highlights the growing role of distinctive typography in helping products stand out, communicate identity, and win attention at the shelf.
A banking company rebrand centered on human connection
Rebrand discusses powerful rebranding projects with creative insights for brands to take away. In a recent post, they discussed the rebranding of SunWest Credit Union.
SunWest Credit Union has launched a new brand identity focused on making banking feel more approachable, personal, and supportive. The rebrand aims to move away from traditional financial services messaging and highlight guidance, trust, and financial confidence.
The new identity is built around the idea of light and direction, inspired by the design of a sundial. The updated logo incorporates elements such as the sundial’s gnomon and shadow to represent guidance through different stages of life.
The new visual system has been crafted with flexible design tools, including a library of 3D icons, updated illustrations, photography, and digital experiences. The goal was to help SunWest create consistent marketing materials while making services easier for members to understand.
The redesign also includes a new website experience, improved user journeys, and updated branch and campaign touchpoints. The team focused on creating a more authentic representation of financial well-being through human-centered imagery rather than traditional banking visuals.

OpenAI introduces new transcription models
OpenAI has introduced two new transcription models in its API, namely GPT-Live-Transcribe and GPT-Transcribe. These models are designed to improve speech-to-text performance across different use cases.
GPT-Live-Transcribe is built for real-time audio transcription with low latency, while GPT-Transcribe is optimized for processing completed audio files and batch transcription tasks. Both models aim to deliver more accurate results by better understanding context, accents, languages, numbers, specialized terms, and speech recorded in noisy environments.
Developers can improve transcription quality by providing additional context, such as keywords, expected languages, recording details, and previous conversation turns. OpenAI says GPT-Live-Transcribe showed improved semantic accuracy when additional context was provided.
Google Cloud expands Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform with new tools for scaling agents
Google Cloud has made several Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform capabilities generally available. This helps businesses build, manage, and secure AI agents at enterprise scale.
Most importantly, the updates focus on improving how agents operate over long periods, maintain context, and work safely within organizations. New features include Agent Memory Bank, which helps agents remember user preferences and past interactions, and Agent Runtime, which allows agents to run complex tasks continuously for up to seven days.
Google is also adding enterprise security tools such as Agent Identity, Agent Gateway, and Agent Registry. These features help companies manage agent permissions, monitor AI systems, enforce security policies, and maintain visibility into all agents operating across an organization.
The platform now also includes Agent Evaluation and Agent Observability tools, allowing teams to track agent performance, analyze decision-making, and identify issues after deployment.
Google Flow Music now generates more expressive AI Music powered by Lyria 3.5
Google has launched Lyria 3.5 in Flow Music. This brings a range of improvements designed to give creators more control over AI-generated songs.
The latest version enhances musical composition by producing richer melodies and more natural-sounding song structures. Google says the model also generates higher-quality lyrics with better adherence to prompts and improved understanding of song structure.
According to Google, Lyria 3.5 delivers more realistic vocals as well, with stronger emotional expression, improved pronunciation, and greater vocal nuance. These updates are intended to help creators produce songs that feel more polished and engaging.
The release also expands creative controls, allowing users to more easily adjust factors such as tempo and track duration to better match their creative goals.
Anthropic’s Claude Opus 5 is built for frontier intelligence
Anthropic has launched Claude Opus 5, a new flagship model designed to deliver near frontier-level performance while costing significantly less than its most advanced model, Claude Fable 5. The company says Opus 5 is now the default model for Claude Max users and the most powerful option available on Claude Pro.
The model shows strong results across coding, software engineering, automation, reasoning, and scientific research benchmarks. Anthropic reports that Opus 5 achieves state-of-the-art performance on several evaluations while offering better cost efficiency than previous Opus versions. The company also highlights improvements in scientific tasks such as chemistry, biology, and bioinformatics, along with enhanced visual output capabilities.
According to Anthropic, Opus 5 is more effective at verifying its work, solving complex problems, and handling multi-step tasks independently. Additionally, the company says it is its most aligned model to date, with lower rates of deceptive behavior and stronger adherence to safety standards.
xAI debuts Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0
xAI has launched Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0, its latest speech-to-speech model built to improve voice interactions through better reasoning, transcription accuracy, and conversational performance. According to the company, the new model delivers gains in speech reasoning, tool use, and conversational flow while reducing response times.
According to xAI the time-to-first-audio of this model is 0.7 seconds and the model reportedly performs more efficiently by reasoning while speaking. This helps it respond intelligently without adding latency.
A major focus of the update is transcription quality. xAI claims Grok Voice Think Fast 2.0 outperforms several dedicated speech-to-text models across 24 languages and maintains stronger accuracy in noisy environments, including calls affected by background noise and telephony compression.
For a limited time, AI video generation in Gemini is free
Google is giving eligible Gemini users the ability to create up to 10 AI-generated videos at no cost through August 4, 2026, using its latest video generation model, Gemini Omni.
The feature allows users to create, edit, and remix videos directly within Gemini Apps using natural language prompts. Users can generate videos from text, images, or existing video clips, making video creation feel more like a conversation than a traditional editing process.
Gemini Omni introduces several new capabilities, including video-to-video editing, multi-turn editing within a single conversation, aspect ratio controls, and built-in templates for faster creative workflows. Moreover, users can add audio to generated videos and continue refining outputs through follow-up prompts.
xAI announces Build Mode for creating apps and websites through Chat
xAI has launched Build Mode, a new Grok feature that allows users to create working digital experiences by describing their ideas in a conversation. The tool generates code and builds live previews directly inside the chat, allowing users to modify designs, add features, and make changes through simple instructions.
Build Mode does not require users to install software or manually configure tools. Once an experience is created, users can publish it through a shareable Grok link or a custom domain.
The feature supports a range of projects, including websites, business pages, productivity tools, calculators, interactive dashboards, games, and other custom applications. Users can also connect data sources to create live dashboards with charts and filters.
Build Mode is currently available in Early Beta for SuperGrok Heavy subscribers across web, iOS, and Android.
Social Media Feature Updates and Algorithm Changes
Snapchat adds music sharing feature to Snap Map
Snapchat has introduced Now Playing on Snap Map. This new feature lets users share the music they are listening to with friends and discover songs through their social connections.
The feature connects Snapchat with Spotify, allowing users to link their accounts, choose who can view their listening activity, and discover tracks directly through Snap Map, Spotlight, and Sound Pages. Users can tap on shared songs to watch Spotlight videos using the same audio, open tracks in Spotify, or save them to their playlists.
Snapchat says Now Playing builds on Snap Map’s existing popularity, which is used by more than 450 million people each month. The feature gives users more ways to express themselves and find new music through people they already interact with.
Meta makes calls on WhatsApp better with web support and other features
WhatsApp is introducing new calling updates designed to make voice and video conversations easier across devices. The new features include WhatsApp Web calling, call transfers, group call controls, improved video quality, and background noise suppression.
Users can now make and receive one-on-one and group audio or video calls directly from WhatsApp Web without downloading a separate app. The web experience includes features such as screen sharing, reactions, call history, and a dedicated Calls tab, while maintaining end-to-end encryption.
In addition to this, WhatsApp is also adding the ability to transfer active calls between devices, allowing users to move conversations from mobile devices to desktop or web versions without disconnecting. Finally, a new waiting room feature gives group call hosts more control by allowing them to approve participants before they join.
New thumbnail updates on YouTube for short and long-form videos
YouTube is introducing new thumbnail features to help creators improve how their videos appear and make content easier for viewers to discover.
YouTube Partner Program creators can now upload custom thumbnails for Shorts. This update gives them more control over how short-form videos are presented. The platform says the feature will expand to more creators over time.
Creators can also select from three suggested thumbnail frames for Shorts on desktop, similar to the existing option available for long-form videos. Mobile users can continue choosing any frame from their video through the YouTube app.
For long-form content, YouTube is adding thumbnail generation directly into Ask Studio. Hence, creators can request a thumbnail and refine elements such as colors and layouts through conversation. The generated designs are tailored to the video topic and the creator’s visual style.
Meta introduces Facebook Verified, a trust signal for identity
Meta has announced a new free verification option for accounts called Facebook Verified. Meta is highlighting Facebook Verified as a way to help users identify profiles that belong to real people in an increasingly AI-driven online environment.
According to the company, the verified badge indicates that a user has completed selfie verification and met Facebook’s trust and safety requirements. The badge is intended to provide an additional layer of confidence when interacting with someone through Marketplace listings, dating experiences, groups, or conversations.
Meta stresses that the badge is not an endorsement of a person’s character, credibility, or behavior. Verified users remain subject to the platform’s policies, including Community Standards and Commerce Policies, and the badge does not guarantee trustworthiness.
The company says the initiative is becoming more important as AI-generated content and digital interactions continue to grow, making it harder for users to distinguish between authentic and inauthentic accounts.
